Our Copenhagen Covert Suit is a beautifully modern iteration of a formal suit. It is made in a soft but structured cloth in a subtle blend of blue and gray. Here we’ve chosen to present the suit in our business preset, with Spalla Camicia shoulders and a modern cut that emphasises the silhouette. Generally we would recommend this suit as work wear, though it should be noted that this cloth would also work wonderful for festive occasions that aren’t conventionally formal. The yarn that was used for this particular fabric collection has slightly different shades of grey, leaving a beautiful structure in the cloth that accentuates the fit. It weighs around 290 g/m2, and is made form 100% wool. It is a fairly light fabric, but robust enough to be suitable for prolonged wear.
About styling; how can one suit cover both wedding and business? Styling this suit for a wedding would look very much like the pictures we’ve presented here with the waistcoat. However we would certainly recommend a white shirt, that can be matched to the white of the bride’s dress. Another important detail is that the suit will look more festive with a unicoloured tie. When wearing the suit for a prolonged time, remember that accessories like a pocket square and a boutonnière keep the suit visually interesting for longer. Shoe wise the both black and brown leather shoes work well with this cloth, though lighter shoes like tan suede would be a bit more difficult to style it with. Styling this suit for business or other occasions where you want to look formal and well dressed is easy, loose the waistcoat and add a tie with a small pattern if the occasion requires/you desire it. The trousers can easily be worn separately with just a shirt, or sweater.
