For a more robust look, we offer suits in hopsack weave. Also known as basketweave and panama weave, this type of weave is one of the oldest and least complicated you’ll find: the threads criss-cross each other, going under and over each other every other time. The weave method is renowned for its durability and ability to resist creasing, making it ideal for travel or long days. It can be folded and draped around a suitcase with relatively little creasing. By weaving in lighter threads with the main color of the suit jacket, you can further clarify the weave pattern, creating an even rougher and more rustic surface.

The light color does a wonderful job at showcasing the airy cloth, and thus the suit is one of the most leisurely designs we provide. The style we've presented here is casual, emphasising the less formal characteristics of the linen, but you could also contrast the informal color and make the suit with roped shoulders.

The Twill weave gives the fabric, and the suit, a firmer and more lavish structure than what is typical for suits made from Linen.
It is the perfect suit for being outside in the sun this summer, and can be styled in a variety of ways. Especially because the suit in itself is so informal it lends itself beautifully to be styled up a bit, where it with a crisp white shirt and a selection of your favorite accessories like a subtly patterned midnight blue tie, black sunglasses and maybe even a black pocket square if your feeling bold. Otherwise you can double down on the informality of the garment and combine it with a t-shirt and boating shoe like Sebago’s. Like most rather informal suits this khaki linen suit lends itself to be worn as separats.

It pairs well with just about anything and is very comfortable to wear during the warmer months. The Linen suit shown in the pictures is made in a casual cut, however the suit would work just as well with roped shoulders.

As said, navy is probably the least common colour for a linen suit, although the combination works well. The suit has the versatility of a navy suit and the comfort and charm of a linen suit. Design-wise we recommend keeping it rather plain with this fabric, for those who want more details, pleats and cuffs would make great additions as they’re informal. This is one of the easiest suits to style that we present in our selection. The only rule of thumb is that whenever wearing the jacket and trousers together, make sure that the shirt is in a less coarse fabric. When it comes to shoes everything goes; black, brown, beige or sneaker all work with the suit. A tie is in no way a must, but consider wearing this jacket with a pocket square; breaking up the color with something lighter emphasises the dark cloth nicely.
