Our Charcoal S120’s Suit is perhaps one of our best business suits, the rich and cool charcoal tone make for a subtle but elegant suit. The fabric is a beautiful rich dark twill in 100% wool made by the Italian mill Vitale Barberis Canonico. We’ve here chosen to present the suit in our casual-preset, though it should be noted that this in no way is a casual garment, but rather a more relaxed iteration of a formal suit. Remember that the design is yours to play with, and if you’d like the suit even more formal you can always opt for roped shoulders or peaked lapels.
This charcoal S120 fabric strikes a unique balance of sturdy and elegant, where the super fine, high grade S120 wool is woven into a strong and robust cloth. The result is a beautiful twill that drapes excellently and wears like iron. The weave is made with some lighter undied fibers which give the cloth an appealing structure that make the garment visually interesting for longer. This thin yet compact cloth weighs in at 360 g/m2 and is made from 100% wool, and has a beautiful natural shine.
Styling the charcoal S120 suit for a corporate setting is not only easy, it is a pleasure. The dark and rich charcoal colour becomes a beautiful templet for so many shirt colours. All the standard shirt colours work very well, like white, powder blue and pink, but also new and modern ones like olive or sage play nicely with the cool tones of the charcoal suit. Now if you’re office requires a tie we’d recommend to abstain from brighter ties if your shirt is in an unconventional colour. When it comes to shoes both black and brown leather work well, just make sure to have a belt in the same colour. It is very delightful how easy and fast styling becomes with this suit, no more working whether the outfit is appropriate or not for the office. Styling this suit as separates is a bit more constrained as the cloth is so fine, but it will most certainly work with either khakis or a pair of light jeans.
