Our Charcoal Birdseye suit is a beautiful spinn on the super classical charcoal business suit. The cloth has a rich but subtle texture composed of a medium and charcoal gray. This creates a fabric that is pleasant to the touch and lively without being bold or overwhelming. Charcoal in particular is an absolute business classic and shouldn’t be missing in any business wardrobe. Here we’ve chosen to present the suit in our casual preset, not that this is a casual suit, but it proves the character of the fabric. For the most traditional look you could opt for roped shoulders and jetted pockets - the suit is yours to design.

Our super 130S collection is an excellently developed textile, with outstanding drape and strength. The cloth weighs in at 310 grams per meter, made from 100% wool in Italy. The fabric features a two-ply weave that guarantees strength and durability, minimizing the risk of breakage or fraying during everyday use. The high quality in the cloth results in a suit that can be worn a lifetime and will age gracefully.

Styling this suit for a business setting is strikingly simple. Doing it simple and plain would be with a white shirt and a subtly coloured tie, like chocolate brown, teal or caramel. However the charcoal acts a beautiful backdrop for any colour, so that a red, sage green or aquamarine tie would blend in without missing a beat. Shirt-wise it is better to stick with classical colours such as white, powder blue or pink. For those who like warmer tones, a pair of brown brooks make for an excellent choice, but black leather works just as well, just make sure to match shoes and belt for a coordinated look.

The beautiful superior wool fabric used in this suit comes from the Italian mill Drago di Biella. The over 50-year-old family business is located in the foothills of the Alps in northern Italy. They import all their wool from Australia and New Zealand from farmers who have high environmental and ethical standards for their flocks. All processing, from spinning the yarn to weaving the fabric, takes place in-house to ensure quality standards are met. That's why we're proud to have them in our range, if you'd like to find out more about the mill please visit their website.
