“This iconic sports coat was made up in a limited-edition fabric by the German cloth merchant Schürman Schröder. The fabric is a 300gr/m Cheviot tweed in a 90 % wool and 10% cashmere weave. This is the perfect odd jacket to be worn with sand coloured trousers, flannels or even jeans. We paired it with a classic hidden button-down shirt in Royal Oxford from Thomas Mason with 100/2 yarn. The jacket is made with a full canvas construction that will help create a clean and smooth structure to the front. Notice the lower Gorge line and rolled 2/3 buttoning that gives an elegant vintage feel. We added the soft natural shoulder to give this jacket the maximum comfort and versatility.”

MxW Heavyweight Cream Whipcord Trousers

“These are Sand coloured Twill trousers in the excellent Whipcord weave from Holland & Sherry. Weighing in at 410 gr/m, these trousers are virtually indestructible and have the perfect drape.”

Mid Grey Flannel Suit 150’s

“In this classic piece we incorporated the essence of classic menswear. One of the best and most iconic autumn suits is the double breasted in mid grey flannel. A choice by style icons like Gianni Agnelli, Clark Gable and Sergio Loro Piana. Worn here with a light blue shirt in a Royal Oxford from Thomas Mason in a 100/2 yarn and a solid navy tie. The fabric chosen for this piece is a Super150´s worsted flannel in 340-360gr/m from Hardy Minnis with a wonderfully soft touch to the hand. The buttoning is what normally refers to a 6×2 (6 buttons with 2 rows usable) but due to the soft construction and pressing you can easily wear it as a 6×1 (only bottom row used). The shoulders have natural soft construction which adds comfort and ease.”

MxW Navy Fresco Mockleno Jacket

“The Navy Hopsack jacket is probably the most versatile in a man?s wardrobe and if you’re only getting one jacket, this is the one. Add a shirt and tie for the business meeting or just a comfortable roll-neck for the weekend and you’re ready for fall. The fabric is a ?Mock Leno? wool in 315gr/m from Hardy Minnis and the jacket was made with a with a full canvas construction that will help create a clean and smooth structure to the front. Notice the lower Gorge line that gives an elegant vintage feel. We added the soft natural shoulder to give this jacket the maximum comfort and versatility and kept it half lined for breathability during the warmer months.”

MxW Navy Heavy Twill

“A true formal and business classic is the three-piece suit.
We made this one with a full canvas construction (optional) throughout the entire front part of the jacket. Together with the more structured shoulder, you should have a suit for any formal occasion.

The fabric used is a mid-weight (340gr/m) worsted merino wool from Dugdale Bros. The slightly heavier worsted wool helps to create a perfect drape in both trousers and jacket. Worn here with a cutaway shirt in white Royal Oxford from Albini in a 70/1 yarn.”

MxW Black Fresco Mohair Tux

“Every man should consider owning at least one tuxedo during his lifetime. It is one of the garments least affected by trends so even though it might be worn more seldom, it can be an investment for years.

There are many styles of tuxedos ranging from peak to notch lapels, single or double as well as black or midnight blue. Our choice was to make it in a classic black Double-Breasted version with satin trimmings.

The fabric choosen for the tuxedo was a beautiful black 70% wool, 30% mohair fresco blend from Hardy Minnis (310 gr/m). This high twist yarn helps create a razor-sharp crease to the trousers and the addition of mohair gives it a subtle shine perfect for evening wear.

The Tuxedo was made with a full canvas construction* and a slightly more structured shoulder construction to give a clean and formal silhouette appropriate to the occasion.”
