Explore our second capsule collection in collaboration with the Swedish menswear icon Andreas Weinås.
Featuring seven outfits that are destined to turn heads this spring and summer, all made in exquisite fabrics handpicked by Andreas and a new and exclusive house cut, “the Weinås cut”.
MxW Seafoam Dupioni Silk Jacket
The most luxurious jacket, woven in the colour of the season – Seafoam/Mint. This jacket is made from 100% Dupioni silk, who’s intentional slubs and imperfections adds character to the jacket. A perfect match with light pants or jeans.
MxW Donkey Super Gabardine Suit
We absolute love what Andreas had in mind with this super cool, super gabardine from Huddersfield Fine Worsted.
Although some may believe that the gabardine fabric belongs to an era long gone, we believe that Andreas’ take on the cut and design elements of this suit pays an ode to the 70’s, all the while being on point with today’s colors and style.
This is an exceptional fabric in a tight twill-weave, a weight of 350 g/m and an excellent drape. Did we mention that gabardine is sturdy, durable and water repellent?
The Donkey Super Gabardine suit is styled here with one of our favorite summer shirts; the Taupe Linen shirt from Italian Albini.
MxW Taupe Linen Shirt
Premium linen shirt from Italian Albini. In this shirt, you are guaranteed to stay cool during summer due to linen’s unique ability to allow air to flow through the fabric. Perfect for any occasion in the warmer season – style it as a pop-over with a casual button-down collar for the ultimate beach shirt, or go with a more elegant, yet casual styling with double Western pockets and cut-away collar as Andreas has chosen here.
MxW Olive Tropical Wool Suit
This one is for all of you who already have the mandatory navy and grey suits in your wardrobe (or those of you, who just want the perfect shade of olive suit) Our Olive Tropical Wool from legendary Fox Brothers in England.
With a weight of 305 g/m in a tropical wool and hopsack weave, this suit is multifaceted; it’s durable, it’s breathable and most importantly, it’s highly wrinkle-resilient.
These are attributes that are worth going for in any suit meant for the office or for your wedding day. Honestly, we’d say they’re worth going for, for just about any occasion year round, but then again, we’re also die-hard fans of suits that are easy to wear and care for.
Light Blue Striped Twill Journey
The perfect shirt for work. A light blue striped 2-ply shirt made of a high quality 100% long fibred cotton. Made with the revolutionary Journey finish – the best anti-wrinkle finish on the market, that insures that the fibers keep it’s smoothness after usage and washing. We are not claiming that there is such thing as a wrinkle-free shirt, but this one comes close. A winner in our book!
If you want to stand out as a gentleman with infinite class and style, this is the outfit for you. Worthy of the Oscars, galas and any other formal event we can think of, the fabric-, design-, and cut-choices made on this selection spell classic, elegant formal wear as no other.
The double-breasted dinner jacket is in 100% dupioni silk from Holland & Sherry, and the black Fresco mohair tuxedo trousers are from Hardy Minnis – both iconic, English mills.
MxW Black Irish Linen Overshirt
If you have yet to experience an overshirt, may we suggest you start with this one?
In this premium black Irish linen from British Huddersfield Fine Worsted, Andreas has created a look we believe is versatile and will be an easy addition to most Scandinavian mens’ summer wardrobe.
MxW Yellow/White Seersucker Shirt
With this seersucker shirt in premium Egyptian cotton, you can almost taste a glass of your favorite chilled summer drink.
Andreas wanted to create the ultimate, casual – yet stylish – shirt for summer and we believe he hit bullseye.
It’s the perfect shade of yellow, the seersucker weave gives the shirt a nice, textured look, and the Egyptian cotton feels silky smooth against your skin. Andreas chose to design his shirt as a pop-over with a casual chest pocket and cut-away collar.
Keep in mind you can design your shirt exactly the way you want it.
