At the most recent Pitti Uomo 107, creative director and style aficionado Carlos Domord embodied modern elegance with a monochromatic suit and overcoat in grey. A suit and overcoat crafted from the same fabric always create a striking effect. We have done this before for the previous winter Pitti, featuring a suit and coat in herringbone but in a warm beige color palette. This time, however, Carlos opted for cool grey tones, bringing a contemporary twist to the look.

The choice of fabric—Holland & Sherry’s herringbone from the Sherry Tweed book—played a crucial role in defining the look’s rich texture and depth. This 100% lambswool fabric, woven with a balance of black, white, and grey threads, creates a dynamic pattern, ideal for winter dressing. With a weight of 340gm, it offers the right balance between warmth and wearability, making it a perfect choice for layering.
