Twice a year, Florence becomes the centre of the menswear world. Buyers, designers, tailors, journalists and style enthusiasts gather for Pitti Uomo\u2014not only to discover the latest collections, but to celebrate the enduring art of dressing well.<\/p>\n

Despite this season\u2019s heat wave, with temperatures climbing well above 35\u00b0C, the streets of Florence remained filled with gentlemen in tailoring. Lightweight suits, unstructured jackets and breathable fabrics proved that dressing elegantly and dressing comfortably can go hand in hand.<\/p>\n

Lightweight, breathable tailoring dominated the streets of Florence, proving that elegance and comfort can go hand in hand\u2014even during an Italian heat wave.Linen remained the undisputed favourite, worn as everything from relaxed separates to shirts and full suits. Alongside pure linen, we spotted an abundance of refined summer blends, including wool, silk and linen, as well as cotton, silk and linen combinations that offer breathability, texture and a beautiful natural drape.
